Q 'N A - What to post on Social Media

let's get started with todays question!:
The question of today is:
What should I post about on Social Media? And how can I come up with more and more ideas?

Yes we all know it. We should be present on Social Media, but what the heck are we suppose to post about?
So we over think the actual fun process of sharing our creative lives.
So take a step back and think about what are you doing.
You are a artist, designer, stylist,... so what are you doing the whole day? You create beautiful things and run a business. You seek inspiration, experiment, take photos, collect materials, books, photos and other stuff.
You have a whole studio full of things that inspire you. You go to new places. Connect with other creative souls,...
You try out new techniques, materials and do stuff people never thought of doing.
We have the most amazing job in the world!
So go and share it!
Take a piece of paper and write down everything that comes up in your mind when I tell you the following:
Let people know where you get your inspiration from!
Go away from your computer and walk around in your studio, write down all the materials you love.
Take a look at your books and make a stack of books you love. Why do you love them?
Do you have artworks of other creatives in your room? Who are they? And why do you like their works?
Do you have tools lying around? Where do you use them for?
How does your work space look like?
What are you doing when you need new inspiration?
What do you collect?
How do you live? And where?
How does your creative process looks like?
Do you have a certain way you take picture of your works?
Do you have rituals that help you get started?
What are you working on right now?
What did you work on in the past and how did your style evolve?
How does it work when someone buys a service or product from you?
What do you need from your clients before you start working for them?
Do you create collages or other visual materials during your creation process?
What are you planning to do in the future?
What does your private life look like?
Now think about what you could share after reading those questions.
Don't you get thousands of ideas?
Write down all your ideas on a piece of paper. I like to do it in form of a mind map ordered in topics.
Every time your struggling to come up with topics take out that list of questions and your mind map.
You will never be out of ideas.
I really hope those questions help you come up with a ton of ideas what you could post about on Social Media.
So stop over thinking what you can share on Social Media, just share what you love about your creative passion and people will love it too!
