Everything in your creative Business revolves around communication!
Let me explain what I mean by that!
When you’re working in your studio, on your own and nobody knows about you, you'll never be able to make a living from your creative work.
So in order to let people know what you’re up to, you will have to let the world know what you’re doing.
You will have to communicate about it!
However just standing on the roof tops shouting as loud as you can probably won't be successful either.
Successful communication is not only about saying something as loud as you can, but it’s about saying the right thing, at the right moment, in the right way.
So how do you find out what to say as well as when and how?
Well, first you need to know you who are and what you want.
What do you want to achieve? What are your creating and why do you do that?
Then you need to understand the person you’re going to talk to as much as possible! What does your ideal client want, what do they need?
How do they talk?
What do they like and dislike?
After you know that information, you need to find a way that connects your position, your why, with the needs and want of your clients.
You can do this with words but also with visual triggers.
Especially as a visual creative you have the chance to create an outstanding visual appearance that sets you apart from all the other businesses out there that aren't that creative.
If you find out your aesthetic appearance, the words you need to use in order to reach directly into the hearts and lives of your ideal clients, you will be able to create beautiful and successful marketing material.
